OUR HISTORY

1926; Where it all began

  • D.F Skelley & Co was established. Founded by Mr David Fredrick Skelley, “The Doctor” and prominent businessman
  • Situated at 355 Lonsdale St Melbourne between Elizabeth St & Queen St
  • The Prime Minister at the time was Stanley Bruce

LONSDALE ST – 1920’s

1941 – 1988

  • Sadly the Founder of D. F Skelley passed suddenly in 1941

  • A new Managing Director was appointed, Mr Harry Cull
  • D.F Skelley & Co, moved to new premises 92 Easey St, Collingwood
  • World War II ended in 1945

1988 – 2003

  • Employees Frank McNamara, Andrew Tsoumanis and Nazza Camarreri, became the new owners of D.F. Skelley Pty Ltd.
  • Skelleys moved to 1 Northgate drive, Thomastown VIC

2003 – 2023

  • D.F Skelley moved to Campbellfield, One of the partners, Andrew Tsoumanis, became the sole Director of the company.

2023 – Current

  • D.F Skelleys acquired by new owners
  • Using their shared approach to business, our new owners are equipped with industry knowledge and a wealth of experience
